Dr. Seuss Week

This week we have been reading Dr. Seuss books.  We have learned that he liked to write rhyming books.  Sometimes he even makes up his own words.

We have been working on understanding the meaning of addition.  The students know the symbols we use to write a number sentence.  We will be looking at subtraction next.

We continued to look at nonfiction books.  We learned about finding the topic of the book and the details the author wanted us to learn.

Next week is Read Across America.  We have Spirit Days.

Monday-Mustache Monday
Tuesday-Decade Day (60s, 70. 80s)
Wednesday-PJ Day
Thursday-Farmer Day
Friday-Super Hero Day
