Readers Workshop:
We began our unit on becoming Avid Readers. Avid Readers are always looking for things to read! We are also working on our Partner Power and "Reading Playdates" that we can have in reading.
Math:
We are finishing our unit on composing and decomposing teen numbers. We are getting really good at it! The tricky part is that we can write an equation with the sum at the beginning or at the end, and we need to pay attention. We also are returning to addition and subtraction facts so that we don't forget how to add and subtract fluently.
Writers Workshop:
We are finishing our unit on How To informational writing. We are writing one last book for a series of books for next year's kindergarten.
